Adam Rameau Obituary

MUSKEGON, MICHIGAN - Adam James Rameau, 28, of Muskegon passed away surrounded by close family on Tuesday, November 15, 2022. Adam was born at Muskegon General Hospital on December 18, 1993 to Jennifer (Sullivan) Beeman.

Adam is survived by his Mother Jennifer (Jack) Beeman; Sisters Kaylie Reed, Kellie (Kirk) McBrayer; Brother Nicholas Holmes; Niece Belle McBrayer; Nephew Jameson Reed; Uncles Terry (Laura) Sullivan, Brian (Nicole) Walker, Jeremy (Janice) Parm; Aunts Angela (Nicole) Weaver, Samantha (Brandon) Jensen; Grandparents Terry (Pauline) Sullivan; Rhonda Sullivan, along with many cousins, extended family and close friends. He was preceded in death by his Maternal Grandmother Deborah Ann Walker, his Great Aunt Joyce Teal, his Great Uncle James Sullivan, his Great Uncle Jimmy Teal and his Nephew Maddox Carter Reed.

Adam was a gifted young man with many artistic abilities. He loved playing instruments, especially his guitar, harmonica, and even a ukulele. He loved to write songs and sing; and he was so talented at drawing incredibly detailed pictures. He had a true love and affection for animals, but most especially cats; and boy did they love him! In spite of all the hardships Adam faced in life, he still shared his smile with the world.

Adam lost a hard battle with a severe illness that was precipitated by his addiction to opiates. This has been a long, hard-fought road for Adam and his family. That road included moments of recovery and sobriety that we all had hoped and prayed for, but in the end it was too much for Adam to endure. We are deeply sorrowed by this loss and our family will never be the same without him.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place.

There will be a Celebration of Life held Wednesday, November 23, 2022 from 6:00 - 8:00pm in the banquet hall at First Wesleyan Church, 1040 E. Forest Ave., Muskegon MI 49442. Food and refreshments will be provided.

Any memorial contributions made to Adam's family will be graciously accepted and used to help cover a portion of his funeral expenses. The rest will be split between two local cat shelters: Heaven Can Wait and Faithful 2 Felines; and the Recovery Coach program managed by Substance Abuse Services at Muskegon Family Care. If you wish, you may make your donation directly to the program of your choice in Adam's name.

We would also like to acknowledge and thank the incredible doctors and nurses for the care and compassion shown to Adam and his family while they worked desperately to save his life in the ER and ICU at Trinity Health Muskegon Hospital.
